Statement of Faith

We, the Moroccan Christian community, affirm our unwavering commitment to the following core beliefs, which serve as the foundation of our faith and guide our spiritual journey:

1. The Triune God: We believe in one God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This triune nature of God reveals His perfect unity and infinite love.

2. The Holy Scriptures: We accept the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative word of God. It is our ultimate source of truth and guidance, revealing God’s character, His plan of salvation, and the path to eternal life.

3. Salvation by Grace: We acknowledge that salvation is a gift from God, not something earned through human effort. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our sins on the cross and offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe in Him.

4. Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior: We confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the only way to salvation. He is both fully God and fully human, and we follow His teachings and example as our ultimate guide.

5. The Holy Spirit’s Work: We believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, empowering us to live in accordance with God’s will, convicting us of sin, and enabling us to bear fruit for God’s kingdom.

6. The Church as the Body of Christ: We recognize the Church as the worldwide community of believers, with Jesus Christ as its head. We value the fellowship of believers, the celebration of the sacraments, and the mission to share the Gospel with others.

7. Prayer and Worship: We emphasize the importance of prayer and worship as essential components of our relationship with God. Through prayer, we commune with God, seek His guidance, and express our gratitude and dependence on Him.

8. Love and Compassion: We are called to love one another as Christ loved us. We are committed to living out our faith by showing compassion, care, and support to those in need, both within our community and beyond.

9. The Second Coming of Christ: We look forward to the return of Jesus Christ, when He will judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will be established in its fullness.

10. Unity in Diversity: We embrace the diversity of our community and recognize that individuals may hold differing perspectives on non-essential theological matters. We prioritize unity in Christ and strive to build bridges of understanding and respect.

This Statement of Faith serves as a unifying declaration of our beliefs and a guide for our journey of faith in Morocco. We invite all who share these convictions to join us in our pursuit of a deeper relationship with God and the service of His kingdom.
